DR TS Kumaraswamy (Retd,Educationist)
DR TS Kumaraswamy is a native of Mysore(Karnataka,India). He comes from a well educated family. His father was a sanskrit scholar.(Late vidwan T Shankara Shashtry - a gramarian and a philosopher).
DR. Kumaraswamy has done Bsc, MA(psy), MEd(first rank) and PhD.(Child psychology-Emotional Development Of Children in the age group of 5 to 7 years). He was a UGC Research fellow(1968-1971)in the University of Mysore and worked under the guidence of DR RP Singh Phd, MA M.Ed MA(B'ham).
Curriculum development
He has contributed in the development of the curriculam on Art and Creative Expression for the Elementery stage. He has written Text books,work books and Teacher's guides (UNICEF Project 2). He has also worked in the preparation of Teacher's guide for Psychology Teacher's at Pre University stage (NCERT DELHI). He has taught Educational Psychology for quite a number of years. He was the Chairman for Mathamatics text books in Karnataka for the Elementary stage. He has specialised in Value Education,Spcial Education,Socialy useful Productive Work,Research Methodology, and New Education Policy. He has served the cause of Education at various levels for more than 50 years. Now he is publishing articles on Emotions of Children.
